This exciting, four day long, day camp is for students, ages 5 - 12, who are interested in learning to play violin, viola, or cello. No previous musical experience is necessary. Instruments will be provided for students to use during camp. Instrument choice is dependent on availability.
The camp program includes: group instruction, music theory, ear training, and a culminating performance.
Beginning Strings Camp Details
This exciting day camp is for students, ages 13 - 18, who play violin, viola, cello, or double-bass. This camp is for all levels, whether you want to increase your knowledge of chamber music, or you have never played in a chamber group before.
Students will learn and enhance chamber playing skills while focusing on small group playing, communication, leading, following,rehearsal skills, performance skills, and playing within the style of their given piece.
