Head, shoulders, knees, and music! Mini Mozarts is a music based program for newborns through young children. This class incorporates learning of various instruments, music, and developing goals through the use of music. Each class is separated into appropriate age groups to help better serve the children and their needs to develop appropriately. This program offers a customized curriculum for each child and the group as a whole.
During each session social skills, fine/gross motor movement, and cognitive/emotional thinking will be addressed. Through music, the children will build self confidence, learn to interact appropriately with others, make positive comments to others, and work together.
The children will also play music together and build body awareness through controlled, expressive, and interpreted movement. Most importantly the children will see that learning and playing music is fun. The children will be encouraged to play a multitude of instruments, sing, and dance at each class.
